The Western Connecticut Area Labor Federation is composed of Executive Officers, an Executive Council and a Delegate Body.

The ALF Executive Officers consists of a President, Executive Vice President, and Secretary Treasurer. These officers oversee the administration of the ALF and provide support for the four chapters and all affiliate locals.

The ALF Executive Council consists of Area Vice Presidents from each chapter (who are the leaders of their respective chapters and often referred to as Chapter Presidents), Delegates to the executive board from each chapter, along with representatives from two constituency/community groups.

The Delegate Body consists of members of affiliate locals. The number of delegates from each local is based on the number of members who live or regularly work within the ALF jurisdiction.
